About your Coach

Hi, I’m Santiago Umana, the creator of the MorphFit Method and a passionate health coach with a background in medicine and exercise science. My journey started as a medical student at the Universidad de La Sabana in Bogotá, Colombia, where I gained deep knowledge in pathology and internal medicine. During my time working as a medical intern in Bogotá’s hospitals, I realized a hard truth: many chronic diseases develop over years of unhealthy habits and could have been prevented if addressed earlier.

That realization changed everything for me. I decided to shift my focus from treating illnesses to helping people prevent them through better lifestyle choices. I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at the University of Kansas, where I had the privilege of working with NCAA Division 1 athletes on the Strength and Conditioning team and the Sports Nutrition team. This experience gave me firsthand knowledge of how personalized training and nutrition can transform not just athletic performance but overall health and well-being.

I created the MorphFit Method to share these principles with people who, like me, believe that health should be proactive, not reactive. My mission is to show that fat loss doesn’t have to mean giving up your favorite foods, spending hours in the gym, or sacrificing time with loved ones. It’s about finding balance, building habits, and transforming the way you look, feel, and perform in all areas of your life.
